Zaebel has been a dream for many years. It always felt unreachable until I decided to look within and think of it as an extension of my own wardrobe. Then, I felt, it was doable.

I have always loved fashion since I could remember; it’s in my blood and roots. I’ve always been called the little stylist in my family and amongst friends. I think back to the time, I held fashion shows as a little girl, dressing up all my cousins in bedsheets, bathrobes and curtains even, whatever I could find. I wish I had footage to show you. In my absolute element. I think my dream to own a clothing brand started from younger days where I felt like I belonged whenever I was involved with fashion.

I love the meaning behind the name Zaebel. It means God’s oath and it makes me feel like Zaebel is my safe space. As if it is meant to be my own dream. I hope Zaebel allows you to be who you are, and I hope Zaebel gets to be a part of you reaching your goals.

I can almost hear my little 8-year-old self, cheering me through the crowd. So, chase your dreams! Be who you are meant to be in this one gift of life!

Our pieces are designed with pure intentions from the swing tag, buttons, to the finalised piece. Each step of the process has been carefully thought out and is designed in-house in Melbourne and passed on to the talented artisans in Bali to be handmade.
